Bernie Sanders has invited Hillary Clinton to hold a debate in Brooklyn.
Both candidates have strong connections to the hipster-borough, where Sanders grew up and Clinton houses her campaign HQ.
The Democratic candidates have recently agreed to hold four more debates, but are still in negotiations with each other and the DNC about specific dates and locations.
Clinton’s campaign suggested to hold one in Flint, Mich., and then Sander’s people brought Brooklyn into the play.
“We are pleased to do [a debate in Flint] on March 3 before the Michigan primary provided the Clinton campaign will agree to Brooklyn, New York, on April 14. Why won’t they debate in Brooklyn? What’s the matter with Brooklyn?”
