Hillary Takes the Subway

New York has gone full election-crazy and it’s hard to keep up with all things presidential going on in the Big Apple. On a lighter note, Hillary Clinton took the subway today.

Yes, the subway. And because it’s twelve days until the primary, people cared. A lot.

Here she is boarding the uptown 4 train Clinton at the 161st Street-Yankee Stadium stop.

Online, Clinton got mocked for needing five tries to get through the turnstill – but honestly, haven’t we all been there?

While Clinton’s subway ride was a nice way to get close to some real-life New Yorkers, it is widely seen as a reaction to a recent Sanders gaffe. The native Brooklynite didn’t know that the MTA stopped using tokens a decade ago during his interview with the Daily News.
