Then you should check out, some of the events that HeadCount are hosting in New York.
The non-partisan organization partners with musicians and bands to promote participation in democracy. In practice this means that they do voter registration at concerts and festivals.
“By reaching young people and music fans where they already are – at concerts and online – we make civic participation easy and fun.” – HeadCount
According to their website, HeadCount has registered over 300,000 voters in the last decade. They have worked with artists like JAY-Z or The Black Keys. And they are constantly looking for volunteers to help out at their events.
